Ahhh.....November. Sweet November. Fall has set in, the leaves are full of bold colors and make the perfect *crunch* sound when you walk on them. By now, I have gotten some serious use out of my scarf collection, and dusted off a few pairs of boots that haven't seen the light of day since March. I forgot how much I love my boots. I know one lovely lady who has this fall-fashion-thing down! Miss Jessica Alba.
I love this blue scarf, it has great texture stylistically as well as great shape. Her look above is very casual, and in turn incredibly easy to recreate. One of the reason's that I adore Jessica's fall style is because it is comfortable while remaining chic, even a busy mom can pull it off.
I am a sucker for a chic sheer blouse. Especially in this off white/cream color. Jeans are a must for fall fashion, and I will be forever great full for that. Jessica's bag is of course amazing, while her boots are beyond exquisite. I do not even need to mention her hair, it is (as always) amazing.
I love these wedge booties in this beautiful dark grey color. I purchased a pair similar to these, but my-oh-my I like her's better. I am a huge fan of pairing skinnies with ankle booties, chic and comfortable to a "T". I am in love with this big knit cardigan, but I have to say my favorite part of this look is the pairing of the scarves. It's so simple, chic and incredibly easy.
I love everything about this outfit, but let's begin at the shoes shall we? I am a sucker for a good leopard flat and these are perfection. Pairing a medium wash skinny jean, chic-comfy plaid top and great maroon blazer and again another great scarf choice. I can see that Miss Jessica is also getting use out of her scarf collection this season as well! While I am usually not a fan of hats for myself per say I think this particular hat makes this outfit! Again, this outfit would be incredibly easy to recreate and you probably wouldn't even have to leave Target.
At the beginning of October I was talking with a girlfriend of mine about the potential investment in a shawl/cape. I am incredibly fearful of appearing older than I am. No woman wants that! Seeing this is seriously forcing me to revisit this topic. Again, bravo Jessica, Bravo.
