Mani Monday: totally tribal
Happy Monday Fashionistas! It's time for another fabulous Mani Monday! Over the weekend I purchased a Sally Hansen's nail art pen in white, and did not have the faintest idea what I would do with it when I got home. After some digging through my collection of polishes and a few Pinterest inspirations, I came up with this!
This look was pretty simple to recreate with a steady hand and patience. I figured if I could pull it off with 5 kiddo's running around, I have confidence in your abilities! I used a teal, purple and pink and painted vertical stripes along each nail. Once dry, I used a layer of topcoat before moving on to the tribal design. (I played around using a pen and paper to decide on a design before I used the nail polish pen) After the white design had dried, it dries quickly, I topped it with 2 coats of my top coat and called it good!
This was such a fun design, and I hope to be a bit more daring in my designs in the future. This was a great introduction to nail art! I hope it inspired you to try something new with your naked nails!
